如果已经把副烟道拆除，或是需要防止倒烟的效果更好，那么使用烟道止逆阀。一般情况下，油烟机的止逆阀效果不是很明显，而在烟道安装止逆阀可以保护油烟机，使烟道里的烟不会向管道和抽油烟机内倒灌。不过，安装止逆阀后要定期清洗，否则会使止逆阀呈打开状态，失去效果，而且烟道止逆阀好两年左右就更换一次。
